    A manufacturing planning method used to check whether available labour, machines and resources can meet planned production demand.

  • Cash BookFinancials

    A financial function used to record and reconcile bank transactions, receipts, payments and cash movements.

  • Chart of AccountsFinancials

    The structured list of general ledger accounts used to classify financial transactions for reporting and control.

  • Cloud ERPFoundation / Platform

    A deployment approach where the ERP system is hosted and accessed through managed cloud infrastructure rather than only on local servers.

  • Commerce Vision

    An integrated B2B and B2C ecommerce platform commonly used with ERP systems such as Pronto Xi. It synchronises information such as products, customer-specific pricing, inventory and sales orders between the online store and ERP, reducing double handling while supporting complex B2B purchasing processes and business rules.

  • Consignment noteDistribution

    A document used in despatch and freight processes to identify goods being shipped and support delivery tracking.

  • ContactCRM

    A person associated with a customer, supplier, site or prospect record.

  • Contra journalFinancials

    An accounting entry used where a party is both customer and supplier, allowing balances to be offset between AP and AR where appropriate.

  • Cost centreFinancials

    A reporting segment used to track income, expense or activity for a department, branch, location, team or business unit.

  • Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)ManufacturingFinancials

    The direct cost associated with goods sold, often used to understand margin and profitability.

    A potential customer or sales opportunity that has not yet become a qualified opportunity or customer.

  • Lead timeSupply Chain

    The expected time between placing an order or starting a process and receiving the goods or completing the activity.

    A physical or logical place where inventory, assets, resources or work activities are recorded.

  • Lot/Batch trackingManufacturing

    An informal term commonly used to describe Pronto Xi, the enterprise resource planning platform developed by Pronto Software. It may also be used more broadly when referring to a company’s Pronto-based business systems, modules, integrations and reporting environment. The current official product name is Pronto Xi.
