Position Overview

About the role

We are a large multinational manufacturing and distribution organization seeking a highly skilled Pronto Xi ERP Business Analyst with a strong accounting background to join our Global Enterprise Systems team. Supporting a complex environment of 500+ users across multiple international sites, you will be the functional lead for our Pronto Xi ERP system, encompassing all modules.

Working collaboratively with two Pronto Support Analysts (who handle day-to-day L1/L2 support and break/fix), you will focus on L3 escalations, continuous process improvement, financial system optimization, and strategic reporting. You will act as the critical bridge between our global finance/manufacturing operations and IT, leveraging Congos and Phocas to deliver actionable business intelligence.

What you'll do

Key responsibilities

Financial Systems & Accounting Leadership

  • Act as the functional subject matter expert (SME) for all Pronto Xi Financial modules (General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management)
  • Optimize and streamline the month-end and year-end (EOFY) financial close processes
  • Manage complex multinational accounting configurations, including multi-currency revaluations, intercompany transactions, and financial consolidations
  • Ensure system configurations align with global accounting standards, local statutory requirements, and internal audit/compliance policies
  • Oversee inventory valuation, cost accounting, and manufacturing cost roll-ups within the ERP

Business Analysis & Process Optimization

  • Partner with global business stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales) to gather requirements, map "as-is" and "to-be" processes, and identify areas for system optimization
  • Translate complex business and accounting requirements into detailed functional specifications for system enhancements and configurations
  • Lead the functional design for new Pronto Xi module implementations or major upgrades
  • Evaluate and implement best practices in manufacturing (BOMs, routing, MRP) and distribution (warehouse management, logistics) processes

Team Leadership & Escalation Management

  • Work closely with and provide functional mentorship to the two Pronto Support Analysts, guiding their resolution of complex L2 tickets
  • Act as the final internal escalation point (L3) for critical system issues, complex bugs, and high-priority user requests
  • Define and monitor SLAs for the support team, ensuring high-quality, timely resolution of issues for the 500+ user base
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill the support team on new system features and financial processes

Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Design, build, and maintain complex financial and operational dashboards using Congos and Phocas
  • Automate recurring management reporting, executive dashboards, and regulatory compliance reports
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across the BI platforms, acting as the gatekeeper for data governance and report security
  • Train and empower finance and operational leaders to utilize self-service BI tools effectively

Project Management & Change Management

  • Lead or participate in key ERP projects, including system upgrades, integrations (EDI, 3PL, banking), and global rollouts
  • Develop comprehensive test plans (UAT), coordinate user testing, and manage go-live activities
  • Drive change management initiatives, creating training materials and conducting workshops for end-users and key stakeholders

  • Proven, hands-on accounting background (e.g., former financial accountant, management accountant, or heavy financial systems analysis)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Pronto Xi in a large-scale (500+ users), multinational manufacturing and distribution environment
  • Experience working in a team structure, mentoring or leading junior support staff

Essential Technical Skills
